Hanna Hais 'Love Paradise'
(Atal)

The Paris-based house chanteuse made her debut in 2002 with a single
produced by ultimate house music pioneer Larry Heard.

She was a bit of a pioneer herself as ‘Il Parlait Pas Francais’ was one of the first house
singles to be sung in French. Since then Hanna, who sings and DJs at the
city’s Kube club, has carved an esoteric but irresistible path which
consolidated on 2005’s Rosanova album but now roars into the stratosphere on
this often jawdropping outing.

Recording in France, Switzerland, Brazil,
Spain, Germany and Italy with producers including Jamie Lewis, Ian
Carey, Ralf Gum, DJ Merne, Dutty Boyz and Alfred Azzetto, Hanna manages to
mate her sensual tones with euphoric disco choruses over a more pronounced
house bedrock to stunning effect.

It often recalls the Paris-New York mutant
disco outings on ZE but there are also elements of Chicago house, German
minimal and Salsoul exploding through tracks like ‘Jungo’, ‘I Love America’,
‘Jazz Samba’ and upcoming single ‘Mr Jim’. Apart from anything it’s also the
sexiest sounding album of the summer. Disco heaven from a major talent.
